Shermalot Motel
We are a family owned and operated motel with the emphasis on hospitality. We are located on Hwy 13 directly next to the public boat landing on beautiful Lake Sherwood, in the town of Rome.You can enjoy hunting, fishing, water skiing,and canoeing, as well as golfing or riding your ATV. You can access the Atv trails from our parking lot. Just park and ride. Most town of Rome roads are ATV trails. We are located 3 miles from Dyracuse motocross/ATV park, and 2 miles from Monroe Prairie, a 40 acre ATV only park. Two 18 hole professional golf courses,(Lake Arrowhead\'s Pines and Lakes courses), are located less than 1 mile from the motel. We are situated in a wooded recreational area 12 miles south of Wisconsin Rapids and 40 miles north of Wisconsin Dells. Enjoy our park-like setting with fire pit and sandy beach. All rooms have a view of the lake. Three eating establishments, including 2 late night bar and grills, are within walking distance of the motel. There are also two restaurants less than a mile from the motel that serve breakfast. All of our rooms are non-smoking, but we provide chairs and a table directly outside your room to accommodate our smoking guests. All our rooms include free wireless internet, a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and your choice of 1 king size bed or 2 double beds. We are open seasonally April - November from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. seven days a week. We are proud of and work hard to maintain our good reputation. Due to allergies, we do not accept pets.
